We have just spent a wonderful week at the Woodlands Chalet. It was an amazing vacation to North Carolina. The mountains are so rejuvenating. We went on many hikes in the area and are attempting to teach our small children the joys of the outdoors. Our kids called Woodlands Chalet their “tree house” and had so much fun playing on the deck and building fires in the evening. They also loved sleeping upstairs in the loft. Their own little haven! We will miss the quiet setting here. It’s a beautiful home that allows for true relaxation. We look forward to many more trips to the Asheville area in the future. Thank you for sharing your incredible home with us!!

What a magical place! Far exceeded our expectations. Thank you Brea and your beloved for this opportunity. We would be back in a heart beat! The hot tub has such beautiful views and the wrap around porch is unbelievable. Hiked today on Blue Ridge Parkway Rattlesnake trail head to Mountain-to-Sea trail, fantastic hike, challenging and great exercise!! Asheville is such a unique town. Salsa’s = great Mexican fusion restaurant. Thank you for such great accommodations and a perfect vacation. We will be back again sooner than later!

Spent a week at this great mountain home. The weather was perfect and a relaxing time was had by all. Jason and Amy were along for trip as well and had an incredible time visiting with us. But especially big brother Gavin soon to be 3 years old next week and little brother gunner who is 19 months old. Thanks for sharing this great spot in our world with us!

We had an amazing weekend, 4 friends (both newlyweds) from Atlanta, GA and Carboro,k NC. Your chalet was the perfect meeting point for both couples. Everything exceeded our expectations during our stay…except of course the bedframes when we all managed to bang our knees on. Our memories will surely outlast our bruises (haha, just kidding). Although, it may have had something to do with the fifth of vodka we finished on the first night. The hot tub, views, decorations – everything was top notch! We will definitely be back for our next 30-something get together again. Thank you so much!

This is a great getaway place. We came to celebrate our 30th anniversary with a concert at the Biltmore (Steve Miller Band). Had three great days relaxing. Hot tub was glorious! Decor is very appealing and love the comfortable bed. Hope to be back soon.

On our honeymoon. We love this cabin! Recommend: Cocktail hour on the deck, take a dip in the French Broad River, visit the Troyer Amish Store, spend a minimum of two hours a day in the hot tub. Thanks for a wonderful, memorable vacation!

Dear Brea and David,
We have had such a wonderful time at your beautiful cabin and exploring the surrounding area. We visited the opulent Biltmore House, winery and grounds. Ate a delicious lunch at the Biltmore Stable Cafe. We have also enjoyed exploring Asheville with its shops, galleries and restaurants. Highly recommend “Salsa” and “Tupelo Honey”. Think there are enough great resturants in the area to sample for a month or more of fine dining. On Saturday we happened to hit Black Mountain for the Sourwood Festival and enjoyed seeing all the crafts, listening to area music, and sampling delicious lunch at a local cafe. Wish I had taken note of the name. It’s been fun at the cabin, too. We enjoyed the hot tub, the comfy beds, the fully equipped kitchen, the decks, the attractive furnishings, and the view. It’s also been a special blessing to have a sweet people-loving cat waiting for us on the deck each day. (we’re animal lovers) Still praying about what to do about this little kitty who seems to have made the Woodlands Chalet her home.l If she’s here for the next guests, enjoy her curling up on your lap out on the deck. Can’t miss mentioning our outdoor adventures. Found the little path off the mountain road here (at the little rock pile on the left going back down the mountain – next to Chestnut Hill Road). It was a short hike, but a good one! We also went ziplining at the “Navitat” outdoor company. Spent 3 1/2 hours ziplining from one tree platform to another in a pristined forest about a 35 minute drive from here (North of Asheville). The staff there was super and despite the heights and speeds of zipping, we felt very safe and had a fantastic time!!! It was our first “zipping” experience, but will do it again at the first opportunity. Thanks for a fun, relaxing, peaceful, and beautiful vacation spot!!! We’ll spread the word and make this our first choice on our next visit to Asheville.
